All Around Texas Roofing provides free roof inspections across the North Texas Growth Corridor, including Frisco, McKinney, Prosper, Celina, Anna and Melissa. Every inspection covers the roof surface, the flashing and penetrations, the gutters and soft metal, and the attic from underneath, and ends with a dated photo report and a written assessment.
Free means free. No charge, no obligation, no deposit, and the report is yours whether or not you hire us. If your roof is sound we will write that down, and you keep the photographs as a baseline for the next storm.

If the inspection finds storm damage, the documentation is built for a claim from the start: dated photographs at wide and close range, marked test squares with the impact count on each slope, soft metal evidence, interior and attic findings, and a written scope covering every component the storm touched.
We also meet your adjuster on the roof. Two people inspecting the same roof separately produce two reports; inspecting it together produces one conversation with the evidence in hand.
What we do not do is file or negotiate the claim, because Texas law does not allow a contractor to act as a public adjuster on a property it is working on, and your deductible is yours to pay. Full detail is on our insurance claim assistance page.
We confirm the appointment and the address, and flag any jurisdiction with its own permitting rules at this stage rather than after a quote.
All four elevations from the ground, the fence line, the gutters and the screens, before anyone sets a ladder.
Test squares marked, counted and photographed.

You see the photographs before we leave and you can ask what each one means.
with a recommendation that says repair, replace, monitor, or nothing needed.
After a North Texas storm the roof is the headline and rarely the whole story. Hail that marks a roof usually marks the gutters, the screens, the fence, the siding and the soffit at the same time.
That is a financial point. Damage from one storm belongs on one claim against one deductible, so a homeowner who handles the roof in spring and the fence in summer often finds the second job has become their own expense.
Our storm inspection therefore covers the whole property: every elevation, the full fence line, windows and screens, gutters and downspouts, the soffit and fascia line, skylights and any patio cover. Related work includes siding repair, window repair, gutter repair, fence repair and soffit and fascia repair.
If the roof is open to the weather, ask about emergency tarping when you call.
The report is yours either way, including every photograph, whether or not you use us.
We tell you when the roof is fine. A roof we do not replace this year is a customer we keep.
We will not manufacture damage, and we do not knock doors after storms.
One contractor for the whole exterior, so the claim reflects the storm rather than only the roof.
We will read somebody else's report with you, at no charge, and tell you what it is missing.
The most time sensitive reason. Damage is easiest to attribute to a specific event while the event is recent. We recommend an inspection after any storm that brought hail of about an inch or more, or winds strong enough to move patio furniture. See storm damage repair for what follows if damage is found.
A general home inspector checks the roof. A roofer inspects it. The difference shows up in hail bruising from a storm that predates the listing, reused flashing, inadequate ventilation and discontinued shingle. All of that is negotiable before you sign and none of it afterwards. For sellers, a roof report in the listing file takes the roof off the negotiating table.
Ceiling stains rarely appear under the hole that caused them, because water tracks along rafters before it drops. This is an attic job first, and the inspection most likely to end in a small roof repair rather than a large one.
Annual inspections catch lifted flashing, cracked boots and opening valleys while they are still repairs, and they build a documented history of the roof’s condition that is useful if a claim is ever questioned.

Our office is on Preston Road in Frisco, which keeps most of those drives short. That matters most in the week after a hail event, when every roofing company in two counties is working through the same backlog. If you are not sure whether your address is in range, call (469) 598-0899 and we will tell you on the call.
If you are ready for the work rather than the assessment, see roof replacement for what a full tear off and rebuild involves.
4.9★ Rating from 1,235+ Texas Roofing Customers The roof surface slope by slope with marked test squares, all flashing and penetrations including pipe boots, chimneys and skylights, the gutters and soft metal, the soffit and fascia line, and the attic from underneath where access allows. You receive dated photographs and a written report with findings and a recommendation.
Usually between half an hour and an hour for a single family home. Larger roofs, steeper pitches and difficult attic access take longer. We review the findings with you on site before we leave.
After any storm producing hail around an inch or larger, or winds strong enough to move things around your yard, yes. Hail damage frequently leaves no sign visible from the ground, and the failure it causes can surface a season or two later, long after the connection to the storm has become harder to make.
It is built for it. You get dated photographs, counted test squares, a written scope of damage and documentation of collateral damage across the property, and we meet your adjuster on the roof. What we do not do is file or negotiate the claim itself, because a roofer is not your adjuster.
Yes. A general home inspector assesses the roof as one item among many. A roofing inspection goes deeper: earlier hail bruising, reused flashing, ventilation that was never right, decking that has taken water, and whether the shingle is still in production.
No. The inspection is free, the report is yours, and there is no follow up obligation. Take the photographs to another roofer if you want a second opinion.
Yes, and we write it down. A documented baseline is worth having, and it makes the next inspection a comparison rather than a fresh guess.
We will not put a crew on an unsafe roof. In that case we inspect from ladders and eaves, use the attic and the soft metal evidence, and return when conditions allow rather than writing a report we cannot stand behind.
Once a year, and again after any hail or wind event that did visible damage around your neighborhood.
You get the findings and photographs first, then the options with what each involves, and where insurance is likely to be relevant we explain how that sequence runs. The decision, and its timing, is yours.
If a storm has been through, if there is a stain on a ceiling with no obvious source, or if you simply do not know how much life is left up there, this is the step that answers it.
